In this technological era, Bloomer Tech is actively working for progress in the development of textile to optimize health.

We are inspired by Amelia Bloomer's legacy. 

She is a women's rights advocate from the 1800's who revolutionized women's health and fashion by replacing damaging corsets with bloomers.

As Amelia Bloomer said  “clothing not only changes lives - it also changes history (herstory!).”

     Collectively our data will enable breakthroughs

 

The age of automation is here, artificial intelligence and machine learning are enabling breakthroughs in healthcare.  We are living in an era of breakthroughs due to algorithms and the devices running them. Bigger and better data to train these algorithms are key to the direct outcomes and treatments of people's healthy lives.These advances depend on data, but our data… is missing… WOMEN. The promise of personalized medicine is limited, limited to those who are represented in the data .

We are using ordinary clothing to collect extraordinary data, we can accelerate progress and get the lacking data on women's heart health.  These advances are heavily dependent on participation and data collection. Together we can eliminate bias from machine learning and AI in healthcare.
